Noise pollution

A family day today, with my grandson and my Dad. Before David went home though, he had to plant up two identical planters with some Violas that I had lying around. Job satisfaction written all over his face, bless him!

When he went home, I continued the power washing. But I suspect my next door neighbour wasn't overly-enamoured by the noise of it. They went back inside and shut their door loudly. Hmmmmm. I do understand. But it means that it'll have to taken out again until the job is complete. Hopefully tomorrow, as I'm having a 'Me' day. I've now edged the lawn/paving to create a small gully to help drainage. That's why it's taking so long.

David is growing so fast. He has kept his interest in the garden, great to see. I am sure he was spoiled rotten for the last twenty four hours and why not.

He's a great little lad, Mary. :)

You just can't please everyone.

I too was gardening with the little ladies.....but in THEIR garden for a change.... Its great to see them getting involved isn't it. David looks happy out!

David did a great job with the planters, they look great.

Neighbours sound a bit cranky to me tbh

He's so useful, you 'll be hiring him out. I can see him at Chelsea in a few years, waving his gold medal and saying, 'I owe it all to Granny!'

LOL Thanks, everyone.

Mary B, they're not in the least bit cranky. But it's a St. Michael's House. And recently a couple of new residents moved in. So I have to take their special needs on board. But at least the bit that I've still to do shouldn't take too much longer. And it's dull and cool today so they won't be out. But now I'm not as free as I thought I'd be today.
