Godetia

This is something that i sowed and planted years ago when I knew NOTHING about plants. It is a foolproof flower. it provided me with a stunning display all summer long and was no trouble at all. I havent grown it since then. But maybe...... I remember my girls kicking football in the garden and Godetia withstood all those knocks. And always came up smiling!

I was never one for 'pink' flowers. But increasingly, i find that i am being drawn to that colour. Even my admiration for that cordyline 'pink passion' today surprised me.

I just googled it.  It comes in quite a range of colours.  Another one for the wish list!

I have never grown it. This is a great thread. I must give them a try. I find myself increasingly turning to pink too, Jacinta : )

Godetia used to be one of my favourite annuals and I have forgotten about it for years, I think it flowers later in the summer. Pink would be a favourite colour of mine.
