snowdrops (Galanthus)
A gift from the God of Gardeners they are a breath of spring.
Lucky you. That's your gloved hand holding the snowdrop, isn't it? You had me puzzling for a minute.
Yea Rachel. I have taken to wearing gloves in the garden now. Only during the week while sweeping under shelves in work, did I discover that a customer decided to relieve themselves in the garden centre and I nearly got sick when I discovered what they left behind. Disgusting. Not taking any more chances. But I know my own garden is safe.
Some people are pigs! I hate wearing gloves because I can't 'feel' what I'm going. But I need to wear them because I've some kind of soil allergy on my hand so I've taken to wearing surgical gloves. They're great actually.
Great surprise, they really do hereld in SPRING.
That's a lovely suprise!!! Dont't like wearing gloves either. Iam not wearing it in the garden but at work sometime I just have to in order to protect myself more than anything.
Need to mark the spot this year so you dont do what I do a lot of the time, put a spade through the bulbs!
that was a far nicer surprise than the one in the garden centre!
Just enjoy them!
Maybe they came over the wall Jacinta ;0 )
