But seriously, I don't know how anyone, who wasn't loaded, managed to garden before them. I love the Germans!
No wonder some garden centres are finding it hard with us all supporting the german economy and next will be the market gardeners with us all growing our own.
wouldnt feel for the garden centers at all,
lovely fella by myself had contorted hazel last year for €9.99 same size as the larger garden centers that were flogging them for €19.99
the difference is he hasnt got the fancy plantes and tables all brightly painted to entice u to buy.
majority of my hard landscaping plants come from him, plus hes local
I think I have Paul converted to gardening :O) he rang me yesterday on his break to see if I had seen the offers in Lidl.
