Aubretia and gold dust re-seed everywhere in my garden. Just love this area at this time of year!!
Beautiful colours there, Sally, especially when the sun catches them. Now that's the Wexford colours at their best.
looks fab love the aubretia. that area is really gorgous
What is this Gold Dust, Sally? The only 'Gold Dust' I know is another name for Spotted Laurel (Aucuba japonica)?
Beautiful I love your wall
Those photos are really beautiful....love those colours together!
Jacinta, the correct name is (and I'm always forgetting) is Aurina saxatilis compacta (gold dust alyssum). I bought a pot of it over from Eng when I moved here 9 years ago and the rest is history. It re-seeds easily - I also dig up little roots of it (always in gravel) and poke it into places with 99% success. The boulder area is down from the two main slopes and is a lovely little place to sit, on a boulder of course!!!
That looks amazing
i love the loose stone wall look, no wonder your pleased. i think its lovely.
Love that God Dust - doesn't it go well with the Aubretia! It's now on the wish list!
Thanks, Sally. It does look lovely alright.
