Epiphyllum

Epiphyllum

I have had this in the glasshouse over the Summer and it has being flowering its socks of and if a piece falls of the main plant I just stick it into compost and away it goes it is such an easy plant to grow .  Last week I took it up to the house and here it is again flowering .  I would love the correct name for it as I am sure someone also has it please.  Oh I am feeling 90% better today for the first time in a week but still no gardening just reading and looking up all your journals .

Just to say a Big Thank You to you all who sent me lovely letters and wishes it was so uplifting so thank you all you all know who you are.......

Lovely flowers Clare. I have several of these Epiphyllums (or is it Epiphylla). They produce a big red flower but not at this time of year, usually in May. Glad to know you are on the mend.

Glad to hear that you are on the mend. Your cactus is beautiful and the flower has a lovely scent. I have had mine for many years in the glasshouse but over the last few winters it has been knocked back. Mary
