i am bloody freezing clara. plants are so confused, abit like ourselves. maybe cover it with some fleese in case, would be a pity to see it get damaged

Me also Kitty and I just went up to Woodies and looked out to the Garden center and all plants were put to bed and all had the fleece over them . not looking good for tonight . I have just been out in the dark doing the same , fingers crossed..

Hi Clara, the mild weather lately has encouraged some of the Rhodos/azaleas to open a few flowers but that should not effect it flowering as normal in May. Hardiness for your azalea should not be an issue unless its newly planted and hasn't been hardened off. Azalea Arabesk should come through winters last the last couple we have had, no problem.

Is there no end to this madness? But how nice to have flowers now!

I'm not enjoying seeing the spring flowers now, I don't even want to be out in the garden.  Well except I was happy to see my wild garlic growing unseasonally early as I flavoured my lunch with it.
