Fuchsia in bloom 16 th January 2012
I went for a long walk earlier today on the beach it was such a beautiful day and I said" why am I not in the garden getting some of the jobs done like cutting back and de weeding cleaning out the glass house so when I had lunch and fed my poor Husband who is still not the best bless him He should have given Johnstown a miss but as he says he enjoyed it .......
I sowed the rest of my bulbs, cleared leaves out of the pond , cut back anything that needed like the Clematis old dead leaves of the grasses so am happy with the first day that I got out into the garden .
What a strange season Summer flowers and its January as I walked today I saw an Agapanthus out as bold as you like and when I came home I checked mine ...as dead as a do do... had no camera but tomorrow I'll be back......
I still have this Fuchsia in full bloom at the front door so not all bad I suppose.
