Euphorbia 'white swan'

Euphorbia 'white swan'

Euphorbia 'white swan'

Unexpected day off work, Aoife down with a bad bug and lousy troat.

Sorted some photos and had a little time walking and seeing what palnts I can move to the far corner as I get areas ready for planting.

I have to say Euphorbias are making an impact on me big time. Really interesting plants with near round interest.

This on of my favorites E 'white swan'.

Have never seen a white one. Photos are lovely, glad primula did for you.

Snap, Fran. A few bits broke off some plants in work and I rooted them here. They have taken and are ready to be planted out front. Might have one to spare.

Poor Aoife! Hope she recovers quickly.

Nice euphorbia Fran, new to me too.  Your photos are lovely, great work in the front corner and love that deep double hellebore.

That's a beauty. I hope Aoife is feeling better soon.

Jacinta, do they root easy?

I must try breaking some of the new growth off my E 'humpty dumbty', that some folk were interested in.

I like Euphorbia too, one appeared in my front garden one day, and it's doing really well and looking good so I've left it there (photos in my February album). I also found a seedling that rooted a couple of metres away from the main plant, so I've put it in a pot for whoever wants it!

I have never seen a white one, it looks quite unusual, very nice.

Yes Fran Like you I have sort of ignored these for years even though I have had them in the garden but this year they have kind of crept up on me and I am having a rethink about them - the lime green flowers on some of them are beautiful that one looks really nice

Fran, if I can do it, anyone can!!

mmm nice Fran, where did you get that and E Humpty dumpty from?  by the way if your trying to propogate I think I said to liga before try to take from non flowering stems and let the sap (white and very irritant wear gloves) leak out and dry off before potting up in the usual cuttings way. i have grown several euphorbias from seed (not my own but bought seed) and there fairly easy too by the way.

Bill, 'white swan' was bought at BayGarden when I met you and Rachel there last year. How did you miss it?

Humpty dumpty I can't remember, sorry.

The hint has been taken and noted, I will do what I can for you ;-))

Bill, meant to say thanks for the warning about the sap from these plants. I am still showing a blister on my arm two years later.

Good words of warning to everyone.

Ha ha my skin must be like leather.

Fran I don't know how I missed that in the Bay Garden??!!  why when I admire something does everyone think I'm hinting!!  by the way if my plants work out I'll swap you for some of my Euphorbias down here Fran :-) or maybe you have them all LOL
