Huntingbrook

The weather is to improve for the weekend (could not get much worse) Jimi Blake is having an open weekend, I was thinking of going along tomorrow.

Just wondering if any else was of the same mind?

Where is it, Fran? Not that I can go, our son is putting the deck round Alan's studio so I'm on catering. But for future reference!

Just outside Blessington, Co. Wicklow.

Google it for more info.

32 people from Blessington came to our garden yesterday, and in a day of constant rain it stopped completely while they were here. :-)

Enjoy Fran I am really hoping to be strong enough to get back to the gardening course which is next weekend the 16th Jimi posted some recent photos on Facebook they were stunning and after all this rain everything will look lush

I was thinking of going, Fran, but the weather is a disaster. I was also thinking of visiting the Japanese Garden in Courtown today but I've been rained off. They open Fridays and Sundays and I've never been. Would you be up for a visit some time?

Rachel, there is to be an improvement for tomorrow, hopefully :-))

Glenvon is new to me, sounds like a plan LOL

Just googled Glenavon, looks really interesting.

Mary I hope you make it back to the course, all going well ;-))

Passed right in front of it last weekend (on way to June Blake's garden - sister to Jimi of Huntingbrook) but alas it was not an open weekend. Shame because it's a bit far away for a day trip ;(

But enjoy it if you do get to go!

Incidentally June Blake's garden is lovely at the moment and just a minute down the road so worth it if you get the chance (she has a small nursery, too).

Cheers Spideog, well aware of these two wonderful gardens ;-)
