every time I look at this area.

I still can't believe that eight months ago this was a completely overgrown weed patch, with weeds etc standing a proud 2-3 ft.

I really think the rain is doing wonders at helping the growth in this area.

The hedges have gotten out of control here of late, so a 'crew cut' order has been imposed so as to get them back in shape. So a section is been done each evening to make the job a little easier.

I love the look  of a well cut hedge, but hate doing it. So bit by bit I'll get there ;-))

That area looks great Fran. Will check your photos for more close ups of the plants there.

I feel exactly the same about hedges. Hate doing them but love them well clipped.

Fran, what's the name of the Geranium in your July photos? It's lovely.

Jacinta Jacinta 16 July 2012 23:12:33

Don't have a name on that one, Moya. I'll try a cutting for you ;-))

Thanks folks.

Wow, that does look really jungley, Fran. It's grown massively since I was there last. That's a good shot to show the proper size of the area.

Great to see an area come on like that so quickly - Fran your July Photos are really lovely.

Looks like 'Philippe Vapelle'  niece, Fran has it very rounded leaves , greyish colour?

fran m fran m 16 July 2012 23:25:17

Elizabeth, it does indeed.

That name rings a bell also,

but then, I hear

'the bells, the bells'

all the time ;-))
