Wind Chime

Wind Chime

I hate to see good items just been thrown out. So it was some time ago I saw 6ft length of maple in a builders skip, into the boot of the car. That was four years ago, had no idea what I would do with it. Then a few weeks ago I was at the Plant Fair in Farmleigh when I saw these long chimes. I kept going back to look at them, on the fifth time the idea finally came to me. A few hours work and I ended up with this wind chime/ garden decoration. Even if I say so myself it looks good, sod this self praise is.......

Who's a clever chap then! They would drive us demented here clanging away all the time!

Now let me see...Four years ago you got the maple, and just now you produced the masterpiece! That reminds me of someone I know....5 years ago he promised me an arch and bought the wood. For 5 years we lived with 4 ten-foot lengths of 3x2 lying in the house corridor. I finally got the arch a month ago!
Still having said all that, you've done a grand job there! Looks lovely.
And actually David, I don't think we'd even hear the tinkling of the chimes here over the howling of the westerly gales!

Likewise, The chimes hook on and off, I hang then for a light chime, its the twirlling effect of the chimes that look cool. Gives a weird effect of movement, Like all men easily pleased!!!!!!!!!!!!

David, I'll talk to you directely in future, dont want domestic starting at my expense.

I get that weird effect of movement too, sometimes. Usually late on a Saturday night...:-)
