Best buy for 2009

Best buy for 2009

Took a few minutes off a lunch break to have a look in Chapters book shop in town. 35 minutes later and a lot of will power I left with just one book, but as the saying goes, " I'll be back".

The book I bought is Success with Containers. 220 pages on using containers to grow all kinds of everything in, really great ideas, will pass them on in time.  120 pages on house plants, and different ways and means of using different containers and plants. 40 pages of plantnames, guide and much more.

There is plenty of advice on all kinds of planting ideas, shubs, flowers, veg, herbs and fruit. But best of all the princely sum of €4.99 Great ideas are coming your way.

How did I ever exist without CHAPTERS? I used to buy most of my books in Hughes & Hughes. Now I realize how expensive they are. Dave has me converted to Chapters. Great bargains. Dying to hear some of these great container-planting ideas.

Jacinta, after seeing your pots and planters, you will love some of these ideas.

Good luck with the new book Fran.I can picture the container veg growing for you already.

There's a radical idea you've given me, Fran!!! We all have many house plants but usually never pot more than one together. Indoor containers containing multiples could be very interesting...

The only fault with the book, is there are a lot of small pictures showing the ideas, but over time I can put in journal entries, for you all.

That's not necessarily a bad point. More pictures means more ideas.
