Thanks Fran for your work on organising the day.  Really enjoyed it ,your panoramic photo is brill. I was sorry we didnt get a chance to give a proper thank you to John as he disappeared very quickly. But perhaps you made our thanks known.

It was a brilliant day, weather and gardening wise. It was a pleasure to meet everyone and wander about a great garden. The talk from the headgardener was excellent and it is nice to see a work in progress and  be informed of their plans and wishes for their garden. Thank you to Fran for organising the day. 

Sounds like ye all had a brilliant day in Belvedere, sorry I couldn't be there. The plant swap is a fantastic idea and a great way to build up stock and get some new plants. Well done Fran!

I am just in after unloading all my plants from the car. Very tired now and going to drink some wine. I had a wonderful day, Fran. Thank you so much for organising it.

We were blessed with the weather to-day at Belvedere when we see what is forecast for the next few days. It was good meeting everybody and the garden talk was very informative. Thank you Fran for organizing everything.

Well done Fran. Sounds like everyone had a great day and weather was on your side too. sorry i couldn't be there but will hopefully make the next one.

Thanks Fran for arranging the visit.  really nice to meet up with you.  I'm glad that I made the effort to come up to Belvedere, along with my friend Dolores, who is an avid gardener.  I'm trying to persuade her to join gdn.ie as she is the potato expert - grows loads of different varieties!!  Nice to meet all the people that one corresponds with isn't it!!

Thank you  Fran for plant swap and for organising such a lovely day out. Weather just perfect too for walk around Belvedere.

Sorry some of you were waiting in the carpark waiting, while some of us were having a coffee ;-)

I want to put thinking hat on, in connection with the plant swaps, I left my list at home, had not labeled everthing, so sorry if you missed out.

I was thinking today, I reckon I will have about 30/35 new plants in the garden, purely from swaps and gifts from people here on the site. It really is a great system. Thanks once again.

Fran, I must have been hibernating, I didn't know about the "get-together".... would have loved to have been there (and you all literally on my doorstep).............. J

Janette, sorry you missed out, I had posted 3 journals to try and give as much notice as possible, it would have been so handy for you also. Next time hopefully.

Me too - would have loved to have been there - I did see that it was planned a couple of weeks back but had a family gathering planned on that day... next time...

Just to keep you informed, I sent an email to Belvedere thanking them and John for everything last Sunday. They replied to day, saying our thanks would be passed on to John.
