Walking The Boards

It is certainly weather for ducks so much rain the pond must have risen by about 10 inches. It has expanded out across the grass and even covering part of the island, ducks are very happy sailing around like battleships checking everything out. Just happened to capture this shot of one of the ducks walking across the bridge from the island reckon they're checking out locations for nesting. At the moment the sun is out but wind is getting up a bit again so it's work in the tunnel today, potted up some Jasminum beesianum roots yesterday if anyone would like some let me know, has pink crimson flowers in late spring early summer vigorous twinner will even clamber up old trees.

Cloncaw, I got excited when I read your heading! Thought you had taken to "treading the light fantastic"!:)!! Great photo and certainly only a day for ducks to enjoy the garden here! But very calm. Everything is in pools of water after very heavy rains.

Cloncaw, I meant to say that I'd love a piece of Jasminum beesianum if you can spare it. Thanks. :)

Dorothy I'll send some with Keego to the get together, has settled down here again although the odd shower of rain but sun out at the moment but too wet underfoot for gardening outdoors

Krista will include some for you as long as Mary can transport it. Mary I'll put the pots into crates think anyone else will have to wait until the next meet up in Birr at the Rare plant fair. I'll certainly give you some of the Jasminium beesianum as well as the perennial sweetpea already promised.
