Fine End To An Un-promising Day

Fabulous Clouds and Drumbannagher Fort

Fabulous Clouds and Drumbannagher Fort

Looked like a very unpromising day for gardening rain and everywhere so waterlogged the island on the pond has virtually disappeared. First job was to take germinated seedlings Duchess asters and Angel wings out of the propagator sowed last Tuesday they're now on the utility room window sill. Planted up in pots Red Sun sunflowers along with half a cell tray of marigolds and rubeckia Cherry Brandy from Clare now in the propagator and a pot with ponytail grass seeds from Fran fingers crossed they'll do okay. This afternoon potted up Ebony and Ivory gladioli and repotted some of the plants in waiting in the tunnel. Overall weather wasn't too bad good sunshine at times and spectacular coloured clouds in the setting sun.

Sounds like a good day for you, Geraldine. Rotation of the propagator even at this early stage. Hmmmm sounds promising.  :)

Well done, There was an amazing Sunrise over Dublin Bay this morning. At 7.00 the first signs of it were brightening in the East, the days are going our way for sure.
