King of Striped Crocus
Today Caroline was going to buy some paint to repaint the show jumps in Craigavon so I went with her. Managed to escape from B&Q without going into the garden centre but in Homebase I was drawn to the seed section bought Penstemon mixed and Cleome Colour Fountain wanted to get Cosmos Seashells Red but they didn't have any then out to the garden centre to check out the pots will work out what I want and go back in my own car. Lots of trays of spring bulbs bought a tray of King of Striped Crocus, on the way home we went to Mahon Garden Centre as Caroline had a gift voucher, took a walk round but think I'd need to be sure perennial plants were going to burst into growth before I'd buy anything. Caroline bought some pots of bulbs to add to planters so hopefully she'll get started gardening yet she loves flowers but feels she hasn't the knowledge but with a bit of help think she'll get into it yet.
