Plants Out Of Waiting.
Managed to get a short time in the garden before teaching first job was to pot up the spring bulbs so now the little Iris no longer stands alone and it has been placed on the steps at the back door. Took a few more photos and notice more tulip buds nearly ready to open, swept down the steps from the terrace as I plan to position some pots on them. Planted out the Hollyhocks, aconitum and purissima tulips where one group of artichokes had been With luck if the weather is favourable a few more plants will come out of waiting although there will be more moving into that area as I still have to lift plants out of the east bed to eradicate the lysmachia. Today was definitely a good day to be alive and able to get out in the fresh air watching the documentary on Stuart Mangan make me realise how lucky we are. David our son in the army was on a challenge on the Wicklow Way yesterday and today 70Km must have been breath taking although he wasn't giving anyone time to take in the view which paid off as they won by 50minutes lots of sore bodies although David isn't feeling any aches or pains the joys of being young.
