Frosted Primrose
This morning at 8:00 it was a frosty scene outside with the sun up promising a beautiful day temperature -1c. Lots of plants dusted with frost but by 10:30 most had gone although the ground was crusty even at lunch time if out of the sun. Spent sometime today removing leaves from the beds in front of the house lots of Red Robin leaves and the golden Elaeagagnus which has dropped most of it's leaves this year again leaves came back silver coloured and then changed to gold again. Johnny eventually lifted the remaining heavy debris on the path below the south bed so it is slowly taking shape. If the weather remains good then tomorrow I'll tackle the east bed deciding how many more plants have to be lifted to allow the bed to be sprayed to eradicate the lysmachia see lilies peeping up so they need lifted and either replanted or potted up.
