Another Iris

This one has opened in the east gable bed rising out of a sea of Nepeta Giant Hills love it's deep rich colouring, all around the garden the iris are really adding brilliant splashes of colour.

I agree with Drumanagh - is that catmint with it? You have a great eye for matching colours which, as we all know with plants, is not always the easiest thing to do with the flower descriptions.

Thanks all this year I have a lot more iris beautiful but not as gorgeous as some of the bearded iris beauties that have been put up in journals. The plant is Nepeta Giant Hills or catmint love the effect of it in drifts in beds like how it sets off other plants.
