Under the Weather

In The November Sun

Hard to believe it's nearly 4 weeks since I've posted up a journal but with one thing and another I've been under the weather, not just the effects of the torrential rain but suffering from flu and laryngitis which is still lingering on. I wasn't fit to get anything done in the garden or feeling up to doing anything much, went for a walk around yesterday to discover I really need to get up and running to tidy up everything up for the winter, especially now that we've had a couple nights really severe frost lots of mushy looking vegetation to be removed. The last week has been busy due to courses and competitions so I missed the opportunity of being out working in the garden on fabulous autumn days which was a pity. Had hoped today would be favourable for gardening but it's sort of mizzling rain so I decided that it wasn't wise to venture out given that I've got to be fit to work, fairly difficult giving riding lessons by sign language. Hope to catch up on what everyone's been at over the next lot of days, thanks to those who sent pm's to me wondering where I'd disappeared to : Cloncaw is alive and kicking.

I was just wondering yesterday where you had got to and saw you had logged on recently but not posted. Poor you, Geraldine. I hope the laryngitis passes and you're soon fighting fit again!

Welcome back, Geraldine. And remember 'Rome wasn't built in a day'. Take your time getting back into the swing of things.

Yes and dont go out in drizzle. I loved the idea of riding lessons in sign language. And I know what you mean by mushy herbaceous as we had a hard frost for the second time last night! Glad that you are coming around though.T.I.E. (Take it easy)
