Outdoor Christmas Tree.

Start of Christmas Spirit
Started the Christmas decorations today by putting lights onto the pine tree in the garden. It was freezing cold and rain and hail started to fall a I worked to get the lights to cooperate, eventually after changing the fuse bulb they came on, then it was a task to decorate the tree which has grown since last year, my garden hoe came in handy to lift the lights to the upper branches. To morrow with the help of Conor and James I hope to put up and decorate the indoor trees and decorate the mantlepieces and get into the festive spirit.
It is freezing cats and dogs here at the moment so don't think we're going to see any snow unless it warms up a bit. I have so much to do and am envious in some ways of those who are well organised. At the same time I love all the last minute preparations still got the cakes to finish, have presents to buy and wrap but that's all part of it, as children we used to go Christmas shopping on Christmas evening I suppose old habits die hard and with my youngest being 18 now there hasn't been the mad panic to be organised for Santa.
