Sunsets on Christmas Eve 2009
It's been real Christmas weather foggy and freezing to start clearing as the sun came out was -5c at 11:00 and warmed up to -1c at lunchtime. Finished off my chocolate cakes first thing as one was for Paul (Milkchurns) and his family along with individual Christmas puds and melt in your mouth shortbread. Did some gift shopping but mainly decided on One 4 All gift cards as I'm not sure my taste in clothes would be to everyones taste and there are so many shops they can be used in seemed like the best gift solution.
This afternoon finished the mantle piece garlands and the house is all set, had checked all the lights coming out of storage and before putting tem on the garlands and was really annoyed that the first one worked for about 10 mins and then it was lights out- no replacement set and cann't see whats wrong so it'll be unlit but that's life. Putting up some more Dec photos and this sunset was just spectacular with the frozen pond and trees white with frost and the snow. Looks like we'll have a White Christmas here unless there's a dramatic change.
Watching Victorian Christmas interesting seeing what happened then, don't know that I'd want to step that far back in time
Wishing Everyone a Happy Christmas and a Peaceful New Year , looking forward to 2010
