Clearing up

26 October 2009 21:51:47

First nice day to come along in a while and i made the most of it, although there's not a part of me that doesn't hurt tonight! Got the lawn mowed even though it was kinda wet and of course the leaves from the trees have made a right mess.  Tried to mow them up also but i think i'll still have to go out with the rake and me thinking i could do it the easy way!! Got my other veg bed weeded and dug over and I'm still getting broken glass and bottles and bits of delph.  That whole garden is full of the stuff no matter what part of it i dig.  I hope we get a few more good days at some stage as i have plenty to do yet.

I would like to say thanks to Johnplotman for his offer of help and answering my questions anytime I'm stuck and to everyone else also for their quick replies.

Hi everyone,

I think the worst of the weather is to be in the nw (that would be my end of the country, what's new!) we should be well used to all this rain by now you would think, but that is not the way atall atall!
