The National Garden Exhibition, Wicklow
Today we had a visit to the National Garden Exhibition Centre in Wicklow. It had been a number of years since I had last been there and I was impressed as to how much it has developed over the years. Some of the designs were very good and the planting reflected the theme of each of the gardens. Some did not appeal to me but that is to be expected as our tastes in gardens are different, We had a lovely day there and of course came home with a number of plants. I was delighted to track down Hydrangea paniculata 'Limelight' for my white garden. I also bought three dark blue delphiniums, a Geranium cantabrica 'Karmina', a Rodgersia 'Bloody Mary' and a Brunnera macrophylla 'Betty Bowring' another plant for my white garden. Mary
