Thats a lovely Hosta Martin, do you grow all yours in the ground? we lifted all ours into pots a few years ago after suffering a lot of slug damage! we put a copper band around the pots and they have never been as good!

Yep we have had great results with them, just be sure to give them a clean with wire wool once or twice a year as they become oxidised, copper pipe around raised veg beds is another good one especially for salad beds!

That photo does no justice to it at all. This hosta catches everyones eye. I wouldn't be surprised if 100 people ask me the name of it every summer!
