Species peonies,

They have lovely leaves and fleeting flowers, and the seedheads are to die for

we planted four Peonies this time never had them before yours look very healthy

Are they already blooming? I have one that's growing quickly at the moment but the flowers usually open around the end of May. I just got one at the week-end, Karl Rosenfeld, but it is very small and apparently it might be 2 years before I see any flower. Where will I get the patience...

These are different. Each of these blooms only lasts for about 2 days. Note the one to the right of the picture with dark leaves and another with dark leaves was was cropped out from the other side but not by me
