Trilliums
mmmmm not really familiar with them. Lovely.
Great combination!
Very nice, they like the shade, don't they?
Yes they like shade as they are woodland plants.
looks really nice. hard to grow?
Not hard to grow when planting well established healthy plants, but if you grow from seed they might take seven years before they flower and are harder to deal with. When they are flowering size they clump up quickly.
How would they do close to a hedge getting early morning sun?
Two lovely colours together
Those Trilliums look lovely and a nice colour too MartinB
The early more sun would be fine as they are spring woodland plants, thus there would not be much canopy, however they do like humus soil and near a hedge might not supply that. Imagine the annual leaf fall that would provide the rich mulch. I think a hedge is a poor and barren place, but I have been wrong before Fran.
As Myrtle said lovely mix of colour
Would love to have some in my garden!!!!
So lovely. They are on the list for next year.
Martin they are lovely and most unusual :O)
