More tulips
gorgeous.
will you leave them in the ground when the flowers die down or dig them up and store them to plant later on?
Unusual name........
And nicer.
lovely colour again
We always leave them in. Deb has used a great idea when introducing tulips to the garden, she has planted 5 bulbs in a pot and when they are in flower she has looked around the garden and easily seen where the gaps are and planted them there, some years a thousand bulbs would go in.
Wonderful colourful display, have left mine in the ground each year but must actually try and put in markers and details on each group to help with future planting plans.
I normally lift my tulips after the leaves have withered. It makes room for other flowering plants like geraniums.
We cut them off long before they have withered as we have other plants coming up.
