Cutting the lawn !!!!

Cutting the lawn !!!!

Here is me trying to cut the lawn next door with my new big wheeled lawn mower, have come in for a spot of lunch or do we call it Tiffin Jacinta. (By the way the thug is covering the kitchen window on the back of the house) By the way the lawn next door has never been cut before.  :-(

Martin, you have your work cut out for you there, good luck. How is it working out?

Martin, you say "Here is me (or here I am)" I don't see you. I only see the mower. Anything like that for grass and weeds would scare anybody away! Why not get a biological mower.

Better you than me!!

You bring back bitter memories, Martin. When we first moved in we had an acre of lawn and a hand mower. It was a nightmare. We used never cut the bit on the hill at the back but it took an age to cut the rest and it usually wasn't done in one day. Once I got the whole lot cut (except the back) in 5 hours neat. A great way to spend a Saturday when you're working full time!

How did the big wheel mower work out? I looked at one yesterday & was considering a puchase, what are your thoughts?

You need a tractor and mower to cut that and a silage outfit to pick it up!!!1

Took me all day but it looks neat now. Hey Bluey I could not buy a big wheel one I had to buy an ordinary one and screw big wooden home made ones onto the original ones. The grass and weeds were three feet high in places and there were rocks and holes in abundance. It is done now and should be easier each time from now on, but i am exhausted.

If you need a bit more exercise Martin you could come on a holiday with your mower and do the area around our woodland behind the pond as it looks much the same.
