You have snow?Wow,,,i'm happy here is just frost,,no i'm not happy with that....better no frost anymore...

We've LOADS of snow this morning.

Didn't have any in December. We were wondering what all the fuss was about.

Of course if Dublin didn't get any last night, it won't be on the news.

Morning all

Some one told you it was a snow Shovel..............

Myrtle Myrtle 08 January 2011 10:44:07

Ha Ha Martin! the snow was sent specially so you could have the pleasure of using the shovel:)

I'm reporting you to The Railway Appreciation Society (or whatever they're called) for mis-use of a perfectly good boiler shovel!

Dick Dick 08 January 2011 12:46:34

Is this the Christmas present Martin, the one we were all guessing, flown into Shannon?

Rachel Rachel 08 January 2011 13:41:16

Doesn't look very ergonomic

MartinB MartinB 08 January 2011 13:53:45

Yes Dick that is my beloved Christmas present. I hinted at it before, ticked it off on a page and left it open, but this year I stated what I wanted and ordered it myself. Should have oiled it after the snow clearing in case if rusts, will do so shortly. It would make a marvellous cricket bat. I think that the australians need to have them issued to them after the drubbing england has given them in the ashes. (Ashes - Coal shovels. Ha!)

Dick Dick 08 January 2011 14:58:28

Ash is of course the wood used in making hurleys, Martin. The shovel could make a goalie's hurley.

Loely present Martin and it is put to great use already, mind your back.

Would this picture remind any of you of a former Donegal footballer?
