A cure for blanket weed

If you overpopulate your pond with fish then they will eat all the blanket weed. Our other pond nearby has only 6 fish and we have to haul the stuff out every day. The pond in the picture that I took today started off with 6 fish and I have even given hundreds of them away and yet it is always full of them.

Can I ask a stupid question? Why don't you put some of them from the pond that there are so many into the one with only 6?

That pond had too many and I gave them all away and so that I could put a different sort of fish in. Those six have started to have babies so it continues.
