Martin, where are skunk cabbages available, do you know. I always wanted some!!!
The flowers look nice and Im sure the leaves will be impressive.
looks great already!!!!
Are the flowers big?
About six inches tall when fully formed Fran, and Jacinta Deb says that any good garden centre might have them.We have the white flowering form as well but it is not as good. Take care you lot, love to chat to you.
Nightie night, oul' fella.
Thanks Jacinta but I am not the only old fellow on this forum, though I can't mention it to his face. :-)
I sound like I'm echoing everyone but that is such a lovely plant. They have it at Altamont Gardens and it was in flower when I visited there recently. At Altamont it is planted on boggy ground, rather than in the water. If it can be planted in the water I will try it in my small pond (if I can find it).
John at http://www.irishwaterplants.com/marginalPlants.html always has some. You will come across him at plant fairs here and there.
Great stuff, thanks for that Deborah.
Just had a two hour nap, did I miss anything????????????????
Well, everyone missed my joke.
lol
OOPs Jacinta we are in trouble again
I'm used to it. :)
Rachel, got it that time, I may have been having a nap :-))
After a certain age I belive it is called 40 winks Fran.
