Love the photos of Oct produce , what do you do with all those chillis?

Hi Cloncaw, we use them in various different dishes such as Indian, Mexican and even in a simple dish like scrambled eggs, also chili oil, salsa, sweet chili sauce and even chocolate & chili cake.  We hang and dry our chillies to use through the year and are just at the end of last years crop.

Isn't it sad to see the last of the tomatoes?

Hi Rachel, in many ways yes it is but as you said in your last entry, its nice to have a bit more time on your hands! now that the tomato harvest has been processed and frozen we can really enjoy it over the winter months...............

It is always a wonder to me how things like putting a banana with green toms was discovered, most likely by accident, but what is the connection that makes it work I wonder?

Just looked at the photos, they are great, do you use a lot of chilies all year round?
