4.5m Polytunnel Greenhouse

17 November 2009 12:09:12
4.5m Polytunnel Greenhouse Pollytunnel, 105 sq ft - 3.5m & 2.5m Available In Our Shop- In Stock, found these polytunnels for sale on Ebay, they seem light weight and would need to be placed in a spot with some protection, would not expect them to last more than 4 or 5 years! but for £67.49, and £14.99 delivery to Ireland they are great value for anyone interested in trying greenhouse gardening! this model is 14.5ft x 6.5ft x 6.5ft, there are smaller sizes available. i was thinking of getting one and mounting it on sleepers, that would give you nearly 7.5ft in height! would fill it with tomatoes and chilies! sure in 2 years it would have more than payed for itself!!!!

Dave, fab price, would need a seriously sheltered spot for it tho = it would not survive a windy winter here on the west coast -)

Great price, I was tempted Dave, but I think I will crawl before I walk or run, at the direction I am moving into. Noticed this morning that my garlic is starting to break through the soil, I was like a kid on Christmas morning when I saw it.

Hi Sharon, great value alright if you had a sheltered spot! but your right don't think it would survive in the "wild west" have a spot out the back of where i work earmarked!!

Hi Dave, had seen these on ebay but wouldn't survive here either, Hoey has sent me through details on how they built theirs so going to see if that would work.

It's a super idea and a super price. Does it fix in with tent pegs into the lawn, I wonder.

A bargain price Dave for all gardeners.

That is a great price.  I like the idea of the sleepers to give you the height plus I'm sure it would help to secure it down

Not sure Rachel! will soon find out, just bought one!!
