Orchid Cactus

Here is my Orchid Cactus (Epyphillum). It will be a while before it's as big or beautiful as Sally's!

The cutting is a year old and I got it from our friend, Rita D, at Belvedere last year.

I really enjoy nurturing plants from small beginnings. I think it makes successes more of an achievement. And it is great to look at this little cutting and be reminded of Rita.

Bless your patience, I can barely cope with my seedlings and I must admit some are gone to a better home in the compost heap !!!

Was just looking at mine from Rita also today there doing really well must put a pic up next week...

jacinta, Rita had at least 3 different varieties including the white one, so yours could be different. I was so lucky to receive an actual plant of the white from Rita. This morning I notice it has lots of buds on - it is highly scented.
