Thank you, gentlemen. I sent my daughter out to see what I had done in the garden and she came back all disappointed, saying  "I thought you were planting your orchids out". Sometimes I wonder if anyone listens to me at all : )

Looks good it's true sometimes are first ideas are the best.

Very nice job Rachel. I think you could fit a v.f.t. in there and also some hardy sundews if you wanted. The contrast of colour between the plants and the modern style planter works perfectly. I will have to call down to view your carnivorous creation sometime.

I've just seen your pictures on facebook. I do love your work! very colourful and nice contrast with hosta's leaves.

That is lovely, you were right to get the pot you wanted even if it was expensive. I have a lot of cheap pots and wish I had bought something really nice instead of several cheap ones. I find it hard to spend on something like that as I always think how many plants I could buy with the money!
