what a lovely day out for the whole family... great looking tree... rachel, no worries.. :0)

My one must be dead. I rescued one last year from the garden centre. Not a sign even of a leaf. Looks like I will be digging it up.

Yours is so 'to die for'. Great weather all round.

Must make a trip to Bay Garden some weekend soon.

Laburnum is a great tree, only drawback is all parts of it are poisonous, even the smoke of it if you were burning it, can be sickening.

Your Laburnum tree is fabulous it's on my list to plant would love an arch of them trained over with climbing roses, on my wish list.

Yesterday ,in Listokes gardens i saw them planted couple beside each other,look like yellow laces curtains.Beautiful tree!

Sorry about that, Jacinta. I have heard of Laburnums just dying ... from old age!

It is Eupatorium rugosum 'Chocolate', Olga, with red foliage. It doesn't grow too big and  unruly like some Eupatoriums do.

  Yes we went to Listokes garden,Olga,but there was some garden party or some market on,to many people was there. There was some big changes too.I will try uploud some pictures ,when i have time.

Liga, sounds very exciting, I would love to see some pictures! I'll be back to Listoke one day too.

Rachel, sorry for off topic in you entry =)))) Eupatorium rugosum 'Chocolate' has very interesting ornamental leaves.
