St Paddy's Day Leprechaun
As you can see, we have our own private leprechaun here.
This is our red-head, Josh, in front of 'Babies' Hill' this morning.
Happy Saint Patrick's Day, everyone.
That's a great display of daffodils, love your leprechaun!
did you see the new giant orchid on the bbc2 program tonight ?
Thanks, Ruth and Dick.
What BBC programme, Fintan?
Is Babies Hill a variety of daffodil? or is it the hill behind Josh. By the way Josh you dont look a bit like a leprechaun! Dermot O Neill is such an honest down to earth person isnt he with a passion for perfection though. His programme is the highlight of my week's viewing.
Not a variety of daffodil, Scrubber, just a term for the bumpy ground my son is standing on. We had a digger in last year and I wanted to level the area but the boys revolted. So 'Babies' Hill' remains. Josh has red hair so, you know... leprechaun!
Ah, Fintan was talking about Dermot's programme. I don't have RTE so I'll catch that on the website later.
Babies Hill looks lovely covered in daffodils and the leprechaun looks happy that it survived after the revolt.
Is that a pot of Bamboo gold to his right Rachel?
Great shot.
Enjoyed your article in the Commemorative edition of the gardener! Bargaining with nature 'And now its here' It is indeed and Im off out to enjoy it!
Great photo Rachel
no , there waas a program on bbc2 , part of it was about a new orchid that has been found , it has hugh flowers and they are begining a breeding program to hybridize it with common orchid types .
it was one of these top ten type programs , should be on bbc i-player .
Thanks, Geraldine, Fran and Una.
That's right, Bill, Leprechaun gold : )
So glad you enjoyed the article, Scrubber. I think we got the good end of the bargain lately.
Sorry I missed that, Fintan.
