Looks like the weather is back.
Didn't do any gardening today.
Poor peonies & lupins.
The rain was so heavy here in Dublin tody, it just flattened everthing. A day for the gardening books.
hi rachel didnt get the rain here yet in galway but it is on the way your poor flowers hopefully it wont last long. last year i washed all my summer stuff in middle of may and we got a fab week or so of heat maybe if i wash them again it might have the same effect.
Stormy weather here too yesterday Rachel. My 2 iris blooms broke in the strong winds. Nicer today. I'll get something done, after a walk around the Killaloe market to meet friends and maybe buy some plants - truth is I d on't need any, but we'll see
Wind played havoc with the big blooms of oriental poppies - blew off petals - also knocked over lots of Alliums!
My lupins are still OK, but wind blew an awful lot of rubbish off the wisteria and the trees. Hope for some more fine weather next week, or is the Summer over, like last year?
