Ooooh, one for my 'wish' list. Lovely! Didn't realize it was a pond plant?

We saw lots of it in Donegal at Easter, looks lovely growing wild.

I love the Cotton grass. Is it invasive in the garden?

I worked for a company that did tours of the local bog. We had people jumping into bog holes - but thats another story. There was loads of Cotten grass. It is so beautiful and without a doubt White all the way!!!

I see it on Hungry Hill on the Beara penninsula.  High up the mountain but on the bog sure enough.  I wonder .... might take some back with me this year - its so beautiful to touch

Rachel that is lovely - does it sit on the edge of the pond or right down in it - I am still trying to source lots of plants for my ponds and I am going to focus on this at Bloom and avert  my eyes from everything else

My cotton grass seems to have caused a stir. It is planted in the water of my pond and seems to like it there. I have not tried it in the ground, Hazel, so can't comment on its invasiveness.
