I drove from Belfast to Waterford today and the weather in the North was absolutely dreadful; such torrential rain and gale-force winds that the car was being buffeted side to side on the road while visibility was frightful restricted because of the spray from vehicles. Driving was terribly difficult but was easier as I came closer to Dublin where the wind and rain had eased off.
The arrival of snow is unexpected as the forecast was for milder weather, or so I though.

Met Eireann shows very scattered showers coming from west/north-west. Here in Waterford .we have a ground temperature of 2.8C and an air temperature of 5.1C.
Cavan seems to be the coldest spot at the moment with ground temp o f0C and air of 2.8C
Oh no I dont want it but it is cold enough for it .
i got up this morning at 5,the wind was unbelieveable,and very cold,its got milder now,hubby says its going to snow!

its bitter here in Tipperary tonight and very wet, snow no thank's we had enough of it last winter
