Almost as good as Fr Ted holdiing up a toy cow and saying to Dougal as he looks out the window.. this cow is small but those cows are F A R A W A Y. he he mind you I am a bit of a Tedaholic, mind you in the end Fr Jack does end up on a yacht sunning himself with drink and girls so theres hope for us ....

Dance Ted Dance! We parked our enormous camper van beside a lookalike Ted caravan in Allihies, West Cork last week. I was going to pin a sign on it "Ceili here tonight at 10 o'clock, music by the Chieftans; 50p payable at the door" but I chickened out.

ha ha rachel, that journal entry made me giggle. Ted was a 'whizz'. Pity all good things come to an end. Great picture, too.

I think half the problem is that we were all expecting a good summer. I even heard it on the UK programme “Countryfile” when they were discussing that animal disease “blue tongue”. So we should blame whoever did the prediction for getting our hopes up.

Love Father Ted, watch it over and over and over and over and over - bit like the rain!!

Heard they were going to have a Lovely Girls competition at the gathering Saturday followed by an All Gardeners Stars in their eyes competion, was thinking of going as Elvis what do ya think :-D

I remember that episode rachel and love father ted, it has been lovely weather here and tonight we are getting the dreaded rain and boy is it raining, was going to visit a garden tomorrow but thunderstorms and rain with gales. Maybe not.

Yeah, this weather is very off-putting. It's not much fun squelching round a garden!
