Some Seasonal Videos

06 October 2016 10:29:09

Hi everyone,

I hope those of you who love autumn, like Fran, are enjoying it. And those of you who dislike it, like Deborah, are getting through the job list :)

My YouTube channel reached a landmark 4,000 subscribers recently and I thought I would post links to a few of the recent videos that you may find useful.

The first one is about taking salvia cuttings - a job for now - and the other two are about my son's TY mini company, where he has decided to sell airplants. So proud of him :)

Great videos Rachel. Looking forward to the last Helen Dillion garden visit video. I don't mind Autumn to much if the weather is nice , but hate the thoughts of winter. Congratulations on the four thousand followers and best wish to your very clever son on his new enterprise.

Thank you, Mary. I have a number of garden videos to publish and recently took a vote on which should go next. Kestellic in France has won (coming in 2 days) so the Helen Dillon one, and the other five, will have to wait. It is best to remember that amazing garden as it was in, say, July. I loved the Gardeners' World interview with Helen. What did you think?

Looking forward to catching up with the videos shortly Rachel and congrats on the subscriber milestone, may they continue to rise!  Well done Josh too.  I love autumn, especially when the weather is as nice as we've had lately in the east.

Rachel, enjoyed the interview with Helen Dillion, but I am finding the garden visits on Gardener's World very short and snappy. It possible attracts a bigger audience to have a more magazine type programme.

Really enjoying the videos Rachel. And well done on reaching so many subscribers. You certainly have the knack! Your son did a great one too on his air plants and hopefully his enterprise will take off!

I love the new Gardeners' World format, Mary, and always find a few things I like. The previous series could be very tedious if they dealt  in depth with something that I'm just not interesting in, like sowing beans or some such. Hats off to the team!

Thank you, Jackie. Hopefully the momentum will pick up now. It has all been fun and thank you for the wishes for Josh. I am so proud of him :)
