I went to dinner last night with some people for whom I had done a genealogical favour.

But I wasn't prepared for what followed.

I was presented with a library of gardening books, including the RHS Encycloaedia of plants and the one on gardening (pictured). Although not new, they are all in pristine order. What a lovely, lovely present : )

That is a wonderful present, I'm sure it was well deserved. The books have gone to someone who will truely appriate them. Enjoy!

I am very lucky. I can't believe the weight of these books - don't know how he got on the plane!?! He wasn't flying Ryan Air, that's for sure.
