Forgot to mention, my friend Tina for whom I made up the Herb garden was just blown away and thrilled to bits with it. Is working on plans to make a herb garden next month when she has some time off. Another convert !!!! Will have her on Garden.ie before I am done!!

Gosh your garden is gorgeous, monica. Is that an ornamental apple in front of your clematis? And what a gunnera! Mine is nowhere that big. How old is that! Is it gunnera manicata or a different one. Kids are really having fun too! Brill.

Gorgeous is not how I would describe it at the moment. Is missing me not been at home all day!! Just a bog standard apple tree, cant remember what type.apples grow to about size of turnips!! Gunnera came from parents garden. Theirs never grew like that. I always had problems with water retention in back - so loves it here. in 4 years I think.

would love to grow gunnera but my soil is sandy. they are a wonderful structure plant
