Tree peony

Tree peony

Is it just around here or is everybodies grass looking sick and yellow??? Everywhere I look the grass looks sick!!! I think it must be because of the continual freezing and thawing!!! It would seem that the shorter it was the worse it is - so mine is by means the worst in the neighbourhood!!

Am putting up a picture of my new Tree Peony Feng Dan Bai.   15 -20cm diameter flowers!! Can't wait!!! Just have to figure out where to put it now?????

My grass is looking pretty sh.... too. Quite pale. But I am quite sure it will recover given a decent amount of good weather.

Mt grass is looking quite good, because I raked out all the moss about a month ago. Mowed yesterday, for the second time. Very little growth, due to cold ground. Will add fertiliser as soon as it warms up a bit.

Everywhere is very burnt and brown but with any luck if the mild weather continues and it rains a little it'll change.

I think Aldi has lawn food tomorrow.  Selling it at this time of year, would be an indication that now's the time to apply it!!  Will go tomorrow and investigate.....our lawn is in dire need of something!

It is a bit early for lawn feed, Sally. By all means buy it now, but wait for a bit of growth, before putting it on. Otherwise it will do more harm than good.

Bit early just yet. Try and hold off applying it for another couple of weeks.

I'm taking notice of all that advice.  Will get the feed tomorrow and wait!!!
