Mysterious Mother Nature

Funny how plants that I thought were as tough as old boots have been killed by the "big freeze" but one, which I thought would have been one of the most tender in my garden has not only survived but is covered in new buds. This is my Kiwi - Not for one single moment did I think it would ever come back - but there you go!!! What do I know???? Nothing obviously!!!!!

I am amazed that your kiwi is alive and kicking, especially since you got some extremely low temperatures, and half my garden is dead even though I am on the coast , where it is supposed to be milder. Save a kiwi for me.

Mine was out in all that horrible weather too. And it seems fine. New buds too. :)
