Imagine it - two journals a week apart - hope I don't give myself a heart attack.

I went around the garden this morning in med November, and photographed everything in bloom. When I counted the pics there were flowers in bloom on 51 plants in my tiny gardens - and that's not counting what's now in the gazebo!

So hurry up with those instructions Hazel - I want to make an album using your work-around.

Here are three images to get started.

I'm so jealous of your Winter Jasmine!Mine never do as well as yours! I'll put the instructions up this evening for sure!

I wonder could it be because I'm a bit fanatical about cutting it right back to the ground immediately after flowering every year?

Possibly! Mine is currenly buried in the second border affected by the Patio build! If it doesn't flower I'll just have to cut it back when YOURS finishes flowering LOL

Lovely photos, Elizabeth. We are so lucky to live in a coutry that has such a mild climate that allows us to have something flowering everyday of the year, but 51 is amazing at this time of the year.

So many summer plants still flowering.

I have a tiny Winter Jasmine, originally given to me by ClaireE as cuttings. I thought I had killed it as it has literally done NOTHING since then. At least, not over ground anyway. But this is the first year that I've noticed any growth on it. It must be there about 5yrs or more, so I'm hoping it'll flower next winter.

My next-door-neighbour had a beautiful specimen in his front garden. And I couldn't believe it when he dug the whole thing up. It covered almost the whole width of his garden.

Gorgeous photos Elizabeth and lovely to see you posting again!!

Jacinta I am the same here. I got some from JoanG a couple of years ago and it hasnt done much at all, not even a hint of a flower, until now. I noticed a couple of flowers on it yesterday, so maybe something there is hope yet!

Yes, great to see you posting Elizabeth and those are three lovely photos. 51 flowering plants in November must be a record for a small garden; must count how many we have here.

I'm interested in your treatment of winter jasmine and the other comments on it; will post a journal on mine shortly.
