Echinacea - 3 plants!

A plant that did exceptionally well for me this year were the Echinacea, I love them, they flower and flower and the bees and butterflies love them!  Oh and they look good too!

They look great Linda and I like the way you have repeated them in the border. Did you grow these from seed. I have found over the years that they can be short lived but apparantly they do not like to be crowded so this is good to know.

Hi Mary, at the moment I am finding they get better each year so will be interesting to see how long they live, they are certainly not crowded at the moment.  These ones are two years old.  I got them in Lidl - very cheap, 3 roots in a bag in early spring which I potted up and transferred to the bed when they were big enough.
